Wren Emily Audine Jackson is now 2 years old...just over actually. She turned two in July. We've lived here a total of four months and she's changed SO much in that time. She's now saying almost complete sentences. She can count pretty high...although she does miss 5-7 for some reason, skips right over them and counts right to thirteen. She always wants to play now. So I hear, "Come on, mommy! Mommy, come on! Come on! Come on! My room! Play! Come on, mommy! Come on! Come on!" all day now. It's really is awesome but at the same time I can't ever get anything done. I just can't believe how smart she is though. We've hung out with some other two year olds before and Wren just seems so much more advanced to me....maybe I'm just bias.....maybe not. ;) I definitely look forward to seeing what kind of person she develops in to, but for now, at this very moment, I know she's the coolest person I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. :D
Ah, Mr. Blog...how I've neglected you so. Between roller derby practice, my two year old, housework, business ventures, meal making, laundry, etc., I just haven't been able to find the time to just sit and type it up.

There's so much in this house that needs to be done. Since we've moved here (five months ago) some of our house projects have fallen by the way side.  We still need to paint both of the bathrooms. There's a crack or two in the dining room that needs fixing before we paint. I have a couple of yard work projects I should finish before winter gets here. We have lattice that needs to be attached to the fence outside our bedroom. Most of the windows need washing (previous owner was a smoker - the windows are nasty!). The doors in the house need a good wiping down too. The list is basically endless. I'm hoping we get to a lot of this stuff before spring of next year.

Then there's just projects in general that don't really involve the house. I would like to be able to find some time to work on the wood lathe I got for my birthday back in July. I have so many dreams and aspirations when it comes to that piece of equipment. Alas, I can never find the time to get out there and work. It's hard with a two year old that's into everything.

I've decided to take a break on the eBay sales. I think this is taking away from my craft time. Since I've started my Etsy business I've made three or four sales. So that's not only inspiring but quite motivational. So when I have a bunch of eBay sales to deal with it tends to hinder the time I need to get crafts done and posted on Etsy. So goodbye eBay.....just for a while anyway.

Roller derby is taking a lot of my time currently. Although I only skate 3 days a week it feels like it's taking a lot more than that. I'm usually beat by the time I get home. So the hours following derby practice are usually spent just veggin' out, watchin' tv or taking a nap....maybe Facebooking a bit. Last night seemed to be a different story though. I got home, showered, did the dishes, finished the laundry and put the little girl to bed. Maybe my endurance is growing. *shrug. Derby is good......real good. :D

Gotta roll.....

Peace!
